Foundry worker — Wallowa County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in Wallowa County, Oregon. The role involves prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
