Tile installer — Oxford County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tile installer in Oxford County, Maine. You will be based in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. What we are looking for: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Day-to-day duties: • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
