Toolroom milling operator • Adams County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Adams County, Illinois. You will work in a die and mould making unit. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls On a typical shift you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits.
