Safety inspector — Boone County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety inspector in Boone County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
