Argon arc welder — Laurens County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Laurens County, South Carolina. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols On the job you will handle: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
