Urgent requirement: dozer operator (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dozer operator in Richland County, Illinois. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters The role involves: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms 4+ years on the tools preferred.
