Brick and block layer — Washtenaw County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Washtenaw County, Michigan. The job is on a commercial construction site. You will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
