Argon welder — Sterling County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Sterling County, Texas. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 1+ years on the tools preferred.
