Excavator operator • Montgomery County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an excavator operator in Montgomery County, Alabama. You will work on a busy civils and groundworks site. On a typical shift you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
