Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Oxford County, Maine. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. Requirements: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking You will apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
