CO2 welder wanted in Gwinnett County

Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Gwinnett County, Georgia. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
