Requirements: • Valid digital tachograph card • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Day-to-day duties: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards 2+ years on the tools preferred.
