Mason's helper — Onicha

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mason's helper in Onicha, Ebonyi State. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Day to day you will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Six days a week, one day off.
