TIG welder — Fulton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Fulton County, Indiana. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
