Vacancy available: bakery assistant (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Calderdale, England. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Your main tasks: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker Rotating shifts.
