Argon welding operator — Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Washington County, Utah. Day to day you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
