The role involves shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site.
