Crane operator — Childress County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Childress County, Texas. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); read and interpret the load chart before every lift.
