Offshore rigger — Lyman County

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Lyman County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 6+ years on the tools preferred.
