Tailor machinist — Ohaukwu

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Ohaukwu, Ebonyi State. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around ₦235,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
