Join our team: we are hiring a butcher in Murray County, Oklahoma. You will work at a wholesale meat market. Day to day you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; season and marinate meat on request; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
