Gas service engineer • Kaga, Borno State

Join our team: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Kaga, Borno State. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Day-to-day duties: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves Overtime paid at a premium rate.
