Pastry baker — Otter Tail County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. Day to day you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Part-time with flexible hours. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
