Port container crane operator — Angelina County

Now hiring: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Angelina County, Texas. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
