Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Hamilton County, New York. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
