Split AC fitter • Jefferson County, Iowa

Join our team: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Jefferson County, Iowa. You will be based at a refrigeration and cooling firm. The role involves: • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence for site visits • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
