Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in San Miguel County, Colorado. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Part-time with flexible hours.
