Single needle operator • Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Rivers State. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
