Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Anderson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Anderson County, South Carolina. You will be based on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate Day-to-day duties: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity Meals and transport allowance provided.
