The role involves: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
