Immediate opening: die-casting operator (New Jersey)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Mercer County, New Jersey. The role involves: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
