Immediate opening: foundry worker (Kaduna State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Makarfi, Kaduna State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring.
