Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Jackson County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Your main tasks: • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash Part-time with flexible hours.
