Lorry driver • Cherokee County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lorry driver in Cherokee County, Iowa. Day to day you will log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock. Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Current Driver CPC qualification card 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
