On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time, day shift. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
