Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Dawson County, Texas. The job is at a busy gas installation company. Day-to-day duties: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
