Pastry baker — Owen County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Owen County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy bakery. The role involves: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Six days a week, one day off.
