Punch press operator — Alcorn County

Join our team: we are hiring a punch press operator in Alcorn County, Mississippi. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. The role involves: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
