Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Jerome County, Idaho. Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Overtime paid at a premium rate.
