Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Clay County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Clay County, Minnesota. You will work in an HVAC service company. On the job you will handle: • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch Requirements: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
