Machine operator — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator in Franklin County, Maine. You will be based at an auto-parts workshop. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery On a typical shift you will follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $8,750 per project, based on your experience.
