Mechanical press operator — Rankin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Rankin County, Mississippi. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling 5+ years on the tools preferred.
