The role involves: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
