Great opportunity: we are hiring a JCB operator in Yakima County, Washington. You will be based at a plant hire yard. The role involves keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; check for underground cables and services before digging; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise 4+ years on the tools preferred.
