We are recruiting: we are hiring a car painter in Kinney County, Texas. You will work at an accident repair centre. You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Able to read and match factory paint codes Day-to-day duties: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
