We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Offa, Kwara State. The job is in a tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 5+ years on the tools preferred.
