Lathe programmer-operator — Swain County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Swain County, North Carolina. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls On the job you will handle: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets We offer $24 per hour plus benefits.
