Kitchen steward wanted in Surry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Surry County, Virginia. The role involves: • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls Ideal candidate: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers Six days a week, one day off.
