Lifting rigger — Mahaska County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Mahaska County, Iowa. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
