Tyre bay technician — Atkinson County

Join our team: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Atkinson County, Georgia. You will work in a commercial truck tyre depot. Requirements: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills Your main tasks: • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear Rotating shifts.
